Get to know Phalgunn

Inspired by the melodies of Himesh Reshammiya, Pritam, and Vishal-Shekhar, and the iconic pop beats of international sensations like Backstreet Boys and Bon Jovi, Phalgunn's fascination with music production bloomed in his late teens. His journey started with a lot of self-exploration and his research and experiments to understand what it takes to produce hit music similar to those he heard on the radio.

Soon he started learning guitar and keyboards under VGK and Hindustani vocals under Pt. Veerabhadraiah Hiremath. His early musical experiments birthed tracks like 'Alarm' and 'Namma Dasara,' along with contributions to local radio and TV jingles, and scoring for student films in Mysore and Bangalore in India during the late 2000s and early 2010s.

After a long hiatus, Phalgunn became a student of Pt. Prabir Bhattacharya, learning and practicing Hindustani music extensively. By 2017, Phalgunn embarked on his indie music journey through international collaborations, giving birth to original independent songs like 'Forever,' 'Meri Dua,' 'Sinfinity,' 'Faith, Hope, & Love,' 'One World,' and 'Salaam India.' Notably, 'Faith, Hope & Love' was accompanied by a crowdfunded music video project under phalmusic.

Since 2020-2021, Phalgunn has expanded his horizons by producing royalty-free music and curating a versatile library of stock music for creators. With over 50 tracks to his name, his collection continues to grow, offering a diverse range of options for various creative projects.
